Alpha Iota Delta of Chi Psi Fraternity is offering this scholarship sponsored by Robert B. Plunkett Memorial Educational Trust. This scholarship is for any male graduating high school senior who will be attending Georgia Institute of Technology.  The selection of this scholarship is for the young man who can best exemplifies the ideals of the fraternity as demonstrated by Brother Bryan in his lifetime of service to those ideals.    Applications are available from your counselor.

The Janice M. Scott Memorial Scholarship (JMSMSF) is open to any high school senior planning full-time enrollment at an accredited four year college or university.  Must be a U.S. citizen, student mus have a 3.0 or higher GPA, demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in community and extra-curricular activities.  Parents combined income cannot exceed $50,000.  Applications are available from your counselor.

Julian & Jan Hester Memorial Scholarship

The goal of this merit based scholarship is to assist first year college students and promote community banking. Jefferson Energy Cooperative (JEC) Scholarship

ARMY ROTC SCHOLARSHIPS

Value:  varies by scholarship type

​

The Four-Year High School Scholarship is for high school students planning on attending a four-year college program. Contact your high school academic advisor or campus Military Science department for more information.  There are also a two and three year scholarship.

Requirements

Students must be a U.S. citizen; be between the ages of 17 and 26; a high school GPA of at least 2.50;  a high school diploma or equivalent; Score a minimum of 1000 on the SAT (math/verbal) or 19 on the ACT (excluding the required writing test scores); meet the physical standards and agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (Army Reserve or Army National Guard)

Columbia County Merchants Scholarship

Value:  will be determined by the scholarship committee.

 

This scholarship is sponsored by the Columbia County Merchants Association. The scholarship value is listed as undetermined.  ( In the past this scholarship has paid as much as $1500.)  The scholarship committee will determine the value of the scholarship and how many scholarships which will be given out within the county.  Deadline for this scholarship is March 23rd .  All complete applications for Harlem HS should be turned into me by March 23rd .  A copy of this scholarship can be downloaded from the CCBOE website:

Exchange Club of Augusta

Value:  $200. to $10,000.

​

The Exchange Club of Augusta recognizes hard working high school seniors for their scholastic achievement, community involvement and leadership. Students must submit completed applications and essays which will be reviewed by a panel of judges.  Local students selected will be awarded $200.00 and the area winner will receive $1,200.  The winner will then go on to compete at the district level for a chance to win $10,000.  Applications are available from your counselor.

Jabez Hardin Scholarship

Value:  $2000. (renewable)

The Jabez Hardin Scholarship is given to one graduating senior at each high school in Columbia County.  This scholarship is valued at $2000. and can be renewed each academic year if the student maintains a 3.o or higher college GPA and is a full time student.  Students must have plans to attend a college or university within the state of Georgia. This Fraternity is offering 3 (three) - $1000. Scholarships to a deserving male graduate with a 3.0 GPA or higher.  Student should be accepted to attend an accredited college/university.  See your counselor for applications.

ATTIC Treasures Scholarship

From our local community, Attic Treasures in Harlem is offering a $1000. Scholarship to a high school senior in good academic standing.  This scholarship can be used at any Technical college, two year Community College, for four year College or University.  See your counselor for scholarship applications.  Completed applications can be dropped off in the Guidance Office.

This scholarship is for a young woman attending a Columbia Cty High School with plans of going to college

The Exchange Club of Columbia County offers this award to recognize a high school student who has overcome great physical, emotional, or social obstacles and is now eligible to graduate high school.  Applications can be located in the Guidance Office see your counselor.
