Evaluate your plans

The major accomplishments during your Junior year should include:

1 - Consider if Dual Enrollment is the right choice for you at Augusta University, Georgia Military College, East Georgia State College or Augusta Technical College.

2 - Prepare and plan to take a college entrance test:  the SAT Test (www.collegeboard.org ), ACT Test (www.actstudent.org) or schedule to take the Accuplacer Test (/www.accuplacerpractice.com ).  Use  Kahn Academy to prepare for SAT or ACT Test:  www.khanacademy.org

3 - Visit Colleges you may be interested in attending and evaluate entrance requirements at each to your course work taken in high school.  Attend college fairs if available in the community.

4 - Search and apply for scholarships. Check your eligibility for HOPE Scholarship or NCAA.

5 - Attend a Financial Aid Briefing.

6.  Be sure to meet with your counselor.

7. Evaluate your participation in college sports by checking out National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) or National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
