         Registration Information

Please complete the New Student Online Registration site allows you to enter all required information online for enrolling your children.  The Online Registration can be found on the Columbia County website.  You must still visit in person, but this process will make the time shorter and the information more accurate.  (This process is for students who are new to Columbia County.  Students who have withdrawn and are now returning should not use Online Registration.) 

 

First, make sure the Pop-up Blocker is off in your internet browser.

1. Click here to access the registration site.

2. Enter the first name, last name, and email address of the adult who will be enrolling the student.

3. Enter the letters that appear in the CAPTCHA box.

4. Click the Begin Registration button.  Then you will receive an email with a link and further instructions for  completing the registration process.

5. Please print the completed registration form to bring to the school with the other required documentation listed  below.

 

               Required Documents
1. Child’s birth certificate or certified copy of birth certificate, certified hospital issued birth record, passport;

2. Child’s Social Security Card;

3. Child’s Georgia Certificate of Immunization - immunization information; and

4. Child’s Georgia Certificate of Vision, Hearing, Dental, and Nutrition Screening  -      vision,  hearing, dental, nutrition screening information.
A report card or address and phone number from your child’s previous school will be very helpful, but not required.

 

         Acceptable Proof of Residence
Proof of Residence All students must provide Proof of Residence each year.  Residence shall be defined as the full time home of the child and the child’s parents, legal guardian, or other appropriate adult authorized to have custody of said child.  Residence shall be determined by objective evidence, including at least TWO of the following items:

*  a secure identification Georgia driver's license

*  current property tax receipt

*  power or gas bill (water bills are not acceptable)

*  voter's registration card

*  home mortgage statements

*  least or rental agreement

*  other federal or state documents which can assist in determining residence
